The Restore & Renew Summer Yoga Workshop is for everyone interested in slowing down, connecting more deeply to the present moment and finding more calm and peace in their busy lives. The workshop is suitable for all levels and complete beginners to yoga are welcome.


​Kate began practicing yoga in 1999.  During this time she has primarily practiced hatha yoga but has also worked with ashtanga, vinyasa and bikram yoga. Kate completed her yoga training with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) in 2009 and brings many years of teaching experience and yoga practice to her workshops. Kate also teaches Mind, Body & Spirit Yoga and Yoga for Well-being classes at Eden Blue. Please view the class timetable for further details.

​​This gentle two-hour Yoga Workshop is an opportunity to put some time aside for yourself, to focus on letting go and to strengthen the connection of the body and mind. We will use this time to calm our thoughts, stretch and relax our bodies and restore our sense of well-being.

The Yoga Workshop will begin with a practice to centre the body and mind and connect to our breath. We will use yoga asanas to release tension, concentrating on postures that open our chest and heart centre and cultivate a sense of becoming more open, on a physical, mental and emotional level.


We will practice a sequence that allows you to release in the hip flexors, an area that for many of us needs attention, and will help us to find a sense of stability and fluidity. We will explore simple pranayama exercises (breathing techniques) that allow you to calm the nervous system and prepare for a deep relaxation practice that will end the workshop and leave you feeling refreshed and restored.
