This Hatha Yoga class is an inclusive and friendly Yoga class that is open to all regardless of age, shape or size. It includes elements of restorative yoga. If you are looking for a Yoga class that will help you to become more centred, relaxed and calm while stretching, toning and lengthening the body, then this Yoga class is perfect for you. Maria is a popular and well-loved Yoga teacher who brings several years of training and experience to her classes.
Maria has been practicing Yoga since 1997 and began teaching Yoga in 2006.
Her teaching style is influenced by the classical style and spirituality of Sivananda and the precision of Iyengar, teaching from her heart with compassion and love.
The yoga classes are inclusive and structured to allow beginners to work alongside more experienced students. The classes will include asanas (postures) and pranayama (breath work).
Maria's specialities include Restorative Yoga and Yoga for those with cardiovascular issues or preventative practice for those at risk. She holds a certificate for teaching Yoga to those who have had cardiovascular difficulties include cardiac arrest or those who have heart surgery.
