Anxiety is a normal, if unpleasant part of life and it can affect us all in different ways and at different times. It is something that can persist, whether or not the cause is clear to the sufferer. Often it is simply a nuisance but sometimes it can be extremely debilitating and can stop you from doing what you really want with your life.

Using a combination of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT -Tapping), this workshop provides you with a safe place to examine options and identify any self-destructive patterns of thinking. You will be guided through a number of simple tools and practices to better deal with these stresses.

Some of the techniques explored will include:

*Guided visualisation
*Thought re-shaping
*EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

About the teacher

Annabel Marriott (MAEd, Dip CBT, Dip Hyp, ASCH) has been working in education for 17 years. During this time, she has seen anxiety levels dramatically increase in young people. This led her to re-train as a counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. She works with a wide number of issues but specialises in anxiety, fears and phobias.

Annabel uses a combination of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Clinical Hypnotherapy because recent research suggests that this combined approach is one of the most effective in treating anxiety and promoting greater self-confidence.
